Sara Carnochan
Homegrown Market Manager
Sara Carnochan, Homegrown Market Manager, joins Brainfood with a background in entrepreneurship, youth development, and urban gardening. Sara grew up in Los Angeles, CA where in 2007 she co-founded and ran Heart Beet Gardening, a landscaping company that creates and maintains edible gardens. In addition to having taught full time in elementary school classrooms, she has worked as a garden educator in elementary through college campuses. Sara is thrilled to bring together her passion for sustainable, seasonal food, commitment to social justice, and love of fostering entrepreneurship through her work with Brainfood Homegrown.
