Brainfood Burger Battle & Brainfood Grill-Off

Brainfood's 7th Annual Grill Off event will be held on July 20th at the historic Union Market and feature a lineup of renowned executive chefs including: Birch & Barley Executive Chef Kyle Bailey, Iron Gate Executive Chef Tony Chittum, Granville Moore’s Executive Chef Teddy Folkman, Pizzeria Orso’s Executive Chef Will Artley, The Red Hen Executive Chef Mike Friedman and Susan Holt - cofounder of DC-based cooking school CulinAerie.

 

Each participating chef will team with executives and employees from corporate sponsors of the event and local students enrolled in Brainfood programs. Led by the executive chefs, each team will choose from a selection of proteins and fresh produce to create a featured dish. Guests will be served each of the featured dishes and a panel of guest judges will select the winning team, which will receive the Brainfood Skillet Award.

 

In addition to the exceptional food, the Grill Off will also feature complimentary drafts from awarding-winning DC brewery, Three Stars and cocktails from local mixologists.

TEAM - $5,000

Teams consist of no more than 5 people, plus a local chef and a Brainfood graduate.  Team slots are limited so sign up now!  You will also receive:

 SOMMELIER - $1,000
